Christmas Traditions

This year we added a few new traditions into our Holiday repertoire....

Justin's sister sent over an elf, that sits on a shelf, that is Santa's little spy.  The girls named her Emily...

And she has a bit of a sweet tooth

Last year on a blog I saw a great way to count down until Christmas, wrap up 24 Christmas books and every night open one up and that is the story for the night.  So over the past year I have been collecting enough books to do this with.

And of course the 4th annual cutting of the tree...

Kenna's Blessing

We got to bless Kenna in Bozeman which was neat to have all of Justins family and my parents there.  Her blessing dress was made by my Aunt Frances from my left over wedding dress material.  It has made it through all three girls.

We got to hang out and swim at my parents hotel.  Of course the girls loved swimming but the elevator is equally exciting!

Kenna and my dad sharing a laugh

Here are my wonderful parents who made the scary drive in snow up to Bozeman to be there for the blessing.  I'm blessed to have such wonderful role models of great parenting!

Giving Thanks in Bozeman

We spent another wonderful Thanksgiving in Bozeman.  15 kids and 12 adults were fed by my mother-in-law (I'm sure she had to sleep for a week after feeding all of us for a few days).   It was a most enjoyable time spent shopping, eating, and hanging out.
Addie with the turkey leg.  Give that kid a leg and she'll eat it to the bone.

Playing dress up with the girls

Kenna got to meet all her cousins

It is a wonder how awesome all the kids get along (and with all those kids there was only one trip to the emergency room..of course it was caused by Brynn)

Brynn and Hallie...they are two peas in a pod

Justin and Addie getting their dodgeball on.  Every year we get our aggression out by throwing balls at eachother.  It's great therapy!

It was a rare moment when Kenna was not being held.  She got a little spoiled.
